(October 3, 2023) – Summit Utilities, Inc. (Summit) announces Mike Jackson has joined the company as Deputy General Counsel and will be based in Arkansas. Jackson is an experienced corporate attorney and compliance officer. He will assist Summit as it continues its investment in Arkansas and across its platform.

Mike Jackson’s Bio:

Prior to joining Summit, Jackson served as Senior Counsel and later the Compliance Officer for Murphy Oil Corporation, first in El Dorado, Arkansas and most recently in Houston, Texas. At Murphy, Jackson provided a wide range of legal support for the company’s operations, including serving on transaction teams domestically as well as in the United Kingdom, Canada and Malaysia. Jackson began his legal career in private practice in Little Rock, before joining the legal department at Alltel and later serving as the General Counsel at Mountain Valley Spring Company in Hot Springs. Jackson is a graduate of Virginia Tech and the University of Arkansas School of Law.
